These are some of my favorite bushes. A few times a year for about a week, over 100 (Not an exaggeration. I stopped counting once I reach 50) of these bushes bloom along Snow Canyon Parkway. I love them so much I even planted one in my backyard. That is the one in the top left corner. These bloom in the spring and fall in pale and deep purple. When I pulled off the road to take a picture, I looked over at the view. It was so beautiful that I had to take a picture of that too.
Here are a few more things that I enjoyed today. I saw this book a while back at Walmart but didn't want to shell out the money for it. I reserved it at the library and after the 14 people ahead of me finished reading it, I finally got too. I really liked it. It was kind of fascinating and of course I stayed up too late reading it.
Since this one isn't on my home computer yet though, I have to listen to something else. That means a little Matt Nathanson. I don't know why I love him, but I really do. I bought his new cd a few weeks ago and that one is pretty great too.

I saw on TV last night that Lady Antebellum has been winning a lot of awards lately, like five grammies this year. That is pretty cool. I like what music I have heard of theirs.
Maybe I will have to bring you a gift of music when I come visit then you can hear more.
