I am a little late with the Halloween post since I was on vacation. Yay! This is my attempt to catch up before I write about all the fun I had in VA.
For one of our activities in Oct., the Young Men and Women got together for a Halloween party. I was informed that as a leader I was supposed to bring a treat and dress up. Yuck! I don't really love dressing up for Halloween. I think it is because I feel like people are looking at me and I don't love the attention. However, I decided to be a good sport. I looked online for a Halloween treat to bring and here is what I discovered.
Yep, my contribution was a plate of fingers. I dipped pretzels in white and butterscotch melted chocolate chips and used sliced almonds for the fingernails. I think they turned out rather well.
I thought long and hard about what I had at home that I could use for a costume since I didn't really want to go purchase something that I would never use again. I happened to remember my awesome tattoos sleeves from years back when I dressed up as a prison inmate. I didn't have the prison outfit any more, but I could certainly pull together something sort of resembling the tatted up biker chick. Behold the awesomeness!
Yes, I have a lot of makeup on. You should have seen how much work it was to get that black eye makeup off.
And also as a bonus, here are some pictures of my Halloween decorations.
That is the extent of my Halloween celebration in St. George.

Haha, you gave them the finger...
AWESOME! Love the costume. haha you gave them the finger.. you were quite the rebel that night I would say...
Cute ideas. Yes you were a good sport on Halloween. I think you got your dislike of Halloween from your mother. I had to come up with too many costumes for 6 kids year after year. Shame you gave them the finger. Smiles.
